  1. That is very close to Columbia Elem. Is that wise?

  2. He is also a great kid. Key word a KID. Not even 19 years old. He is a family friend and I have watched him grow up and never hurt a fly. You should be ashamed for publishing this.

  3. I do feel bad for him and his family. But he was convicted of a crime, and I feel more sympathy for the victims.

  4. I must admit that the persistent posting of our resident sex offenders only serves -- IMHO -- to make the area look bad -- regardless of whether we have more or fewer than other areas. I could do without it, frankly.

  5. I would be interested in hearing what other readers think about this. Our purpose is providing information - we are not trying to make the area look good or bad. I think people, especially parents, would want to know if there are sex offenders living next door.

  6. I think knowing facts can never hurt. This blog is about Annandale, and these pieces of information about Annandale should be mentioned. The blog should show the good and the bad about our town, not a filtered version.

As much as this blogger is able, I think it should include all it can about 22003. Filtering info is a dangerous situation.

  8. I am a family member. He is a kid and his life is over before it started. It is also a learned thing that usually trickles down in the past. I am praying for the victims family and my family both of which have been absolutely devastated from this experience.
