Seven Corners bank robbed

Fairfax County police from the Mason District are investigating a bank robbery that occurred July 12 at the BB&T Bank at 6120 Arlington Blvd. A man entered the bank at around 10:30 a.m., demanded money, and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

The suspect was described as black, in his 40s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin build and wearing a dark coat and dark jeans. He was reportedly wearing a surgical mask and indicated he had a weapon.
