Woman sexually assaulted in Target at Skyline Center

The suspect
Fairfax County Police are investigating an alleged sex offense that occurred on July 19, shortly before 8 p.m., inside the Target store at 5115 Leesburg Pike in the Skyline Center in Bailey’s Crossroads.

The victim, a 38-year old Arlington woman was shopping when she felt someone or something touch underneath her skirt, near the back of her thigh, states a news release issued July 5. She turned abruptly and saw a man jump away from her and noticed a bright flash, as from a camera. The man walked briskly away.

The victim notified Target security immediately and police were contacted. Surveillance video from the store confirms the victim’s account.

The suspect was described as Hispanic, 25 to 35 years old, 5 feet 5 to 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing 155 to 170 pounds. He had dark hair and was wearing light-colored slacks, a light-colored shirt, and white shoes. He was last seen getting into the passenger side of a white box truck.
