Boy stabbed in Seven Corners

A 12-year-old boy was assaulted and stabbed at the Seven Corners Shopping Center between routes 7 and 50 at 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 2, the Fairfax County Police Department reports.

He was walking when he was approached by three men, described as Hispanic and in their 20s. The men stabbed the boy in the upper body and fled on foot. The boy was treated at a local hospital with non-life threatening wounds.

He was not with his parents but it is not known whether he was with someone else, a police spokesperson says. They don’t know why the boy was attacked and are looking into whether it might have been gang related. There were witnesses. 1. This is truly scary. There is a Fairfax County elementary school going in just yards from this location.
