High winds predicted for tomorrow, power outages possible

A wind advisory is in effect for Annandale on Friday, Jan., 3. The high temperature for tomorrow will be just 22 degrees, the National Weather Service predicts. About an inch of snow is expected, along with winds up to 30 miles per hour and gusts up to 46 mph.

All that means icy roads and a strong likelihood of downed trees and power lines. If your power goes out, always report it to Dominion Virginia Power, 1-866-DOM-HELP (866-3664357). Dont assume a neighbor has done so. Click here for Dominion’s outage map.
