|Work on the interior of Tous Les Jours under way on Tuesday evening.|
Tous Les Jours, the Korean-French bakery and cafe at 7219 Columbia Pike, Annandale, will open Friday, Aug. 22, says owner William Yoo, although there’s still a lot of last-minute work going on inside.
The cafe will sell a variety of cakes and sweet and savory baked treats, sandwiches, gelato, ice cream, and bing soo (shaved ice with toppings). Beverages include various coffee drinks, smoothies (strawberry, blueberry yogurt, green tea, and other flavors), and bubble tea (strawberry, honeydew, taro, coconut, and more). The shop has a private room available for parties.
Tous Les Jours will be open 7 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7 a.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday. The shop is in the interior of the block, facing Bon Chon, in the building formerly occupied by the Joseph’s Coat thrift store.
Yoo also owns a Tous Les Jours shop in Centreville. Tous Les Jours is a franchise company founded in Korea in 1997. It has 28 locations in the United States and about 1,300 throughout Asia, in China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, and the Philippines, as well as Korea. The Centreville and Annandale locations are the only two in Virginia.
