Woman assaulted in Annandale

A 28-year-old woman was grabbed from behind and assaulted while walking along the 7400 block of Eastmoreland Road in the Parliaments apartment complex in Annandale at about 10:45 p.m. on Sept. 10, the Fairfax County Police Department reports.

After the assault, the suspect pushed the woman to the ground and fled toward Markham Street. The victim did not require hospitalization.

The suspect is described as an Asian male, between 20-30 years old, around 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with spiked black hair. He wore glasses with a black frame, a black t-shirt, and blue jeans.

  4. Perhaps more Neighborhood Watch patrols could help. Or maybe those "call for help " communication pillars like those on college campuses or in parking lots. Any Paul Blart types out there?
