Superheroes and other characters came to life at the first-ever
“Comics, Costumes, and Cocktails” event Feb. 27 sponsored by Collector’s World
and Cue Club. Both stores are in the Annandale Shopping Center on Columbia
Pike.

Anyone who showed up in costume Saturday evening got a $10
gift certificate for Collector’s World. All comics are the shop were 50 percent
off, and Cue Club offered discounts on food and drinks, plus special
WebShooting and SuperSipping cocktails.

ReplyDeleteI bought a great autographed photo of a favorite NFL player (in his college years, no less) from Collector's World as a Christmas present for my husband a couple of years ago. We both love it.
Even if you're not into comics, you may well find a treat there; please support our local small businesses--especially unique ones like this!
