Burglary suspects arrested

Green [FCPD]
Fairfax County Police have arrested two individuals for burglarizing a home in the 7400 block of Brad Street, Falls Church, last month.

The two allegedly broke into the home of a 51-year-old man and woman and stole jewelry, electronics, home goods, and apparel on June 13 or 14. Detectives discovered one of the items, a unique pendant, had been pawned at a nearby pawn shop.

Mark A. Green, 24, of Falls Church, was charged with four counts of burglary, four counts of grand larceny, and one count of larceny with the intent to sell. He was allegedly involved in multiple burglaries. Melissa A. Sieck, 24, of Chesapeake Beach, Md., was charged with one count each of burglary, grand larceny, and larceny with the intent to sell.

The two were arrested on July 10, but FCPD didn’t announce the arrest until Aug. 12. The recovered stolen property will be returned to the victims. The home where the crime took place is next to Woodley Pool.

  1. I don't think we needed to know the exact location of the burglarized home.

    1. U think wrong.....we need to know to protect ouselves and our neighborhoods and be on higher alert.

  2. What is wrong with people. Send them to Maricopa County Prison. I am tried of this mentality that even though someone works hard for something it is okay to take it from them. I am sure in Maricopa County prison they can get jobs in the food factory and start earning a living.
