Park Authority seeks feedback on RECenters

The Fairfax County Park Authority invites the public to take a community interest survey on programming and operations at its RECenters. The survey is being distributed to RECenter users, pass holders, and other county residents and is available online until Oct. 21.

They survey is part of an ongoing study to guide future redevelopment and growth of the RECenter system. The county has hired consultants to develop a systemwide sustainability plan for the RECenters. The final facilities assessment is due in spring 2017.

  1. The REC Centers are the best think Fairfax County has going for it. They just need to manage the influx of people who are new to this country that abuse the services these wonderful facilities provide: like washing and drying their clothes and bathing. Beyond that these Centers are a tremendous asset to residents. I use the Centers two to three times a week. Best thing this County ever did was build these Centers.
