That's probably in anticipation of the BOS spendthrifts ratcheting up the tax rate and trying to pin the increase on the defeat of the meals tax. Unequalized tax hikes are the new normal. So, as of now, I'm already looking at an unequalized tax hike of $250. If I'm lucky, the school funding crazies won't cost me more than an additional $400 - $500.
