Anthony's Restaurant relocating to new Bill Page shopping center

The much beloved Anthony’s Restaurant, a long-time institution in Falls Church that closed June 2, is moving to the shopping center being developed by Bill Page Honda on Annandale Road at the Route 50 intersection.

Anthony’s signed a “letter of intent” to relocate to that property, confirmed Anthony’s General Manager Pete Zoutis June 22, who was reached at the Anthony’s in Manassas. The restaurant will be next to a BB&T Bank.

Zoutis said the new restaurant could open as early as September. “The menu will be the same. The prices most likely will be the same,” he said, although he acknowledged that could change in the future. The restaurant offers traditional Italian entrees, pasta, subs, and pizza.

Anthony’s opened on Broad Street in Falls Church 41 years ago. It closed to make way for a new development to include a Harris Teeter’s grocery store.

  1. Yeah! A restaurant in our neighborhood that is not fast food. Welcome Anthonys!

  2. I am so glad Anthonys has found a new home outside of fufu Falls Church City.

  3. So glad relocation is planned! We have moved out of the area but were in town this past Thursday. Very disappointed when we stopped in Annandale and no Anthonys for lunch. V sad. :-(

  4. I'm sure some neighboring restaurants that have enjoyed a brief sales increase due to our longing for a genuine, down to earth place to simply enjoy the whole experience(not just a plate of food) will be saddened to discover Anthony's is returning.
