Annual parade flows through Annandale

The annual Annandale Parade took place Oct. 24 along Columbia Pike. Thank you, readers, for sending pictures.

The cheerleading team from the Annandale Boys and Girls Club.

Annandale resident Brian Woodward (top), the winner of a 1965 Ford Mustang in the Bailey’s Crossroads Rotary Club’s raffle, drove the car in the parade with his daughter, Sarah (left) and Bailey’s Rotary President Pat Borowski.
Politicians were out in force, including these volunteers with the Mollie Loeffler for Mason supervisor campaign with Ron Martinson's 1958 Lincoln.
The folks at the Annandale branch of Burke & Herbert Bank show some community spirit.

Members of the JEB Stuart High School Interact Club, sponsored by the Bailey's Crossroads Rotary Club, carry a banner borrowed from the Annandale Rotary Club proclaiming Oct. 24 World Polio Day.
