Burglary suspect sought by police; man arrested for indecent exposure

Fairfax County police detectives have released photos of a woman who attempted to burglarize a home in the 3800 block of Hummer Road, Annandale, on May 31.

Shortly after 9 a.m. the woman jumped a fence and walked the perimeter of the home, passing “no trespassing” signs. She appeared to be checking for unlocked windows and left after being confronted by the homeowner.

The woman was described as black, between 25 and 40 years old, and 150 to 200 pounds. Police believe she may also have information about another recent burglary in the county.

Anyone with information about her identify or other burglaries should contact the Fairfax County Police Department, 703-691-2131, or Crime Solvers.

In other crime news, FCPD reports an indecent exposure incident in the 6100 block of Larston Drive in the Lincolnia area at around midnight on June 21.

Police officers responded to a report of a suspicious car parked in the area. As they investigated, a man yelled at them and then he and woman who was with him ran into a nearby park.

The suspect stopped and exposed himself to the officers. They arrested George Thomas III, 23, of Alexandria, and issued him summonses for indecent exposure, possession of marijuana, and trespassing in a park after dark.
