Robbery suspects arrested

Bisrat [FCPD]
A man walking along the 6100 block of Leesburg Pike at about 4:15 p.m. on Sept. 25 was robbed of a belt, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

A teenage boy brandishing a gun approached the man and demanded his belt, then got into a car waiting nearby. Police officers found the juvenile along with an adult getaway driver in the car. Officers learned the weapon used was stolen.

Both the juvenile and driver, Estifanos Bisrat, 18, from Falls Church, were charged with armed robbery, possession of stolen property, and possession of marijuana with intention to distribute.

A traffic pursuit on the beltway led to multiple arrests, after police attempted to stop a car heading northbound for reckless driving at about 2:40 a.m. on Sept. 26.

The driver eventually stopped near the Braddock Road exit and attempt to run. Police quickly captured Kevin Gutierrez, 27, of Dumfries. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, no operator’s license, and speed to elude.

Police detectives are seeking a group of men for robbery following an incident in the Culmore Shopping Center parking lot at about 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 23.

An officer on patrol noticed what looked like an argument between four people and determined that the victim had been approached by a group of unknown men. One suspect had pulled out a knife and demanded money and property. The suspects spotted a police cruiser in the area and ran away.

Must of been one of those teens who wears his pants alongside his hips, where his tighty-whities are clearly visible to everyone, and he just learned it was a major fashion faux pas! Get me a belt quick!
