Italian restaurant to open next month in Bailey’s Crossroads

The future home of Nour Resto.
An Italian restaurant called Nour Resto is under construction in a small retail strip on Leesburg Pike in Bailey’s Crossroads. It’s replacing Sardi’s Pollo A La Brasa, which closed several months ago.

Owner Hassan Atwi anticipates opening in February.

The restaurant will focus on steak, seafood, pizza, and Italian entrees prepared by chef Moe Dakka from Las Vegas. There will be a full bar, too, as well as an outdoor patio with heaters. Atwi is planning to host live bands.

Nour Resto will be similar to Mazaro, a modern Italian restaurant in Clarendon also owned by Atwi.

  1. I'm still sad about Sardi's. I really liked that place.

  2. Woohoo, Baileys is rocking it up with new venues that are sorely needed. Maybe I can stop going to Arlington, Alexandria, Tysons and DC for some upscale food.

    1. Exactly! Another thrift shop or a Latino grocery store would work too.

  4. Wow the sarcasm is top notch! I advise both of you and your friends invest the thousands of dollars necessary for restaurants and stores to cater to your non-ethnic needs. No one is stopping you.
